SafeAI for Business ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect through safeaiforbusiness.com and how we use it. We practice what we preach: minimal data, clear purposes, no surprises.
Who we are
The data controller is SafeAI for Business. You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@safeaiforbusiness.com.
What we collect
- AI Starter Pack requests: your email address.
- Contact form messages: your name, email address, optional company name, and your message.
- Technical data: our hosting provider processes standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and secure the site. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
- Anonymous usage statistics: aggregated information about how the site is used, collected without cookies (see Analytics below).
How we use it
- To send you the Starter Pack you requested.
- To reply to your enquiries.
- To keep the site running and secure.
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful so we can improve the site.
We do not send marketing emails. If we ever start a newsletter, we will ask for your separate consent first.
Legal basis
Where the UK GDPR, EU GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on taking steps at your request (sending the Starter Pack you asked for) and our legitimate interests (replying to messages you send us, keeping the site secure and measuring site usage in aggregate).
Who processes your data for us
- Hostinger: website hosting and our email service.
- MongoDB Atlas: the database where form submissions are stored.
- Cloudinary: delivers images on the site. It receives your IP address when images load, but none of your form data.
- Cloudflare: provides our cookieless website analytics (see Analytics below).
These providers act on our instructions under data processing terms. Some of them may process data outside the UK or EEA. Where they do, the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Starter Pack requests: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Contact messages: up to 24 months after our last exchange, then deleted.
- Server logs: kept for our hosting provider's standard short period.
You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.
What we don't do
- We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
- We do not use your data to train AI models.
- We do not share your email with third-party marketers.
Cookies
Public visitors receive no cookies from us. The only cookie we set is a strictly necessary sign-in cookie, used only in our private admin area. Our analytics does not use cookies (see below).
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. It does not use cookies or similar storage on your device, does not track you across other websites, and does not build visitor profiles or collect personal data for tracking.
It records aggregated, anonymous information such as the pages visited, referring sites, country, browser and device type, and how quickly pages load. Because it does not use cookies, it does not require a consent banner.
The provider is Cloudflare, Inc. You can read how Cloudflare handles data in its privacy policy.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, deletion of or a copy of your personal data. You can also object to or restrict how we use it. Email hello@safeaiforbusiness.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or to your local EU data protection authority. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Security
We protect personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), access-controlled storage and restricted admin access.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
